Push-Up Counter
Counts your push-ups. Flags reps that didn't go all the way down.
What it measures
You do push-ups in front of the camera (side angle). The app tracks your shoulder-to-floor distance every frame, counting a valid rep only when your chest reaches the bottom and your arms fully extend at the top. Half-reps and partials don't count.
Why it matters
Push-ups are one of the few upper-body endurance tests that translate directly to functional strength. Military, police, and most sport teams still use them as standards. The catch is that gym push-ups get sloppier as you fatigue — the rep count stays the same but the actual work drops. Auto-counting honest reps tells you the truth.
How to do it
- 1Set your phone 2 meters to your side, lens at shoulder height.
- 2Get into push-up position. The app verifies it can see your shoulders, hips, and elbows.
- 3Start when you hear the beep. Go to your normal full range.
- 4The voice calls every valid rep number. Half-reps are skipped silently.
- 5When you fail or stop, the app shows total valid reps + any flagged-form ones.
